Acoustic light

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřená na návrh akustického světla. Produkt představuje inovativní materiál pohlcující nežádoucí dozvuky v místnosti a se spojením s LED osvětlením poskytuje ambientní světlo. Práce tak představuje domácí pohodlné prostředí. Teoretická část se věnuje důkladné analýze vlastností korku od jeho získaní až po využití. Dále se věnuje problematice vlivů světla na lidský organismus a umělé zdroje osvětlení. A poslední část je zaměřena na fyzikální akustiku v interiéru a možnost její redukce. Praktická část je zaměřena na produkt od myšlenky, přes návrhy až po vývoj konceptu a vytvoření prototypu akustického osvětlení.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on the design of acoustic light. The product is made from an innovative sound absorbing material that reduces unwanted sounds in the interior and complements the cozy home atmosphere. The theoretical part investigates the properties of cork through the analysis and describes the issue of light interaction with the human body and artificial light sources. The last part consists of the research of physical acoustics in the interior and possibilities of its reduction. The practical part is based on the design of the lighting product from inspiration sources and references, development of the whole concept and final prototype making.
