Abstract:

Absolventská práce pojednává o potenciálním vlivu používání sociálních sítí na tělesné sebepojetí mladých dívek. Snaží se nalézt potenciální výskyt vlivů instagramových fotografií na body image. Zabývá se tím, jakou roli hrají fotografie sdílené na Instagramu ve vnímání vlastního těla dívek. Stěžejním tématem práce se stává ideál ženské krásy. Práce poukazuje na to, jakým způsobem může dívky ovlivňovat ideál krásy, který je propagován na fotografiích a v příspěvcích na Instagramu. Popisuje jednotlivé fenomény týkající se ideálů krásy, vyskytující se na sociálních sítích včetně Instagramu, které by mohly potenciálně mít pozitivní nebo negativní vliv na body image dívek. Závěry, které je možno z práce vyvodit, v sobě zahrnují poznatky o aktuálním obsahu fotografií na Instagramu, které by mohly mít vliv na body image dívek. Z práce vyplývá, že hlavní dopad vystavování se určitým typům instagramových fotografií je především nespokojenost s vlastním tělem. Následně se v závěru práce můžeme seznámit s navrhovaným postupem, jak by mohl sociální pracovník podporovat mladé dívky ve spokojenosti s vlastním tělem.

Abstract:

The topic of the thesis is the potential impact of the use of social networks on the physical self-concept of young girls. This thesis tries to find potential occurrence of effect of instagram photos on body image. It deals with the role of photos shared on Instagram, in the perception of the girls' own body. The main theme of the work becomes the ideal of feminine beauty. The thesis points out, how can affects girls the ideal of feminine beauty, which is promoted on the photos and posts on Instagram. It describes the various phenomena related to the ideals of beauty that occur on social networks, including Instagram, which could potentially have a positive or negative effect on the body image of girls. The conclusions, that can be drawn from the thesis, include knowledge about the current content of photos on Instagram, which could have an impact on the body image of girls. The thesis show us that the main impact of exposure to certain types of photos on Instagram, is primarily a dissatisfaction with the own body. At the end of the thesis it is proposal, how can a social worker support young girls in satisfaction with their own body.
