Abstract:

Téma mé bakalářské práce je komunikace osob s mentálním postižením. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a část praktickou. Teoretická část je rozdělena do dvou kapitol. První kapitola je zaměřena na problematiku mentálního postižení. Nejprve se zabývám charakteristikou osob s mentálním postižením. Dále popisuji klasifikaci mentálního postižení podle etiologie, typu chování a dle stupně mentálního postižení. Na konci první kapitoly popisuji příčiny vzniku mentálního postižení. Druhá kapitola je zaměřena na komunikaci osob s mentálním postižením. Nejprve vymezuji pojem komunikace a její význam pro život. Další část druhé kapitoly je věnována symptomatickým poruchám řeči, které se často vyskytují u osob s mentálním postižením. Poslední část je věnována systémům alternativní a augmentativní komunikace. Nejprve popisuji co to je alternativní a augmentativní komunikace, její výhody a nevýhody a hlediska, která musíme zohledňovat při výběru správného systému. Pak se věnuji popisu jednotlivých systémů, které můžeme využít při komunikaci s osobami s mentálním postižením – komunikace facilitovaná referenčními předměty, Makaton, TTT systém (Znak do řeči), Bliss systém, Piktogramy, Sociální čtení, Globální metoda výuky čtení, DOSA-metoda a SNOEZELEN, Facilitovaná komunikace. Praktická část je zaměřena na případovou studii muže s mentálním postižením. K získání dat jsem použila metodu přímého pozorování a analýzu osobní dokumentace. Pozorování jsem zaměřila především na komunikační projevy sledovaného jedince. Pro výzkumné šetření jsem si za hlavní cíl stanovila přiblížit a popsat komunikaci osoby s mentálním postižením. Dílčí cíl byl zaměřen na využití systémů AAK při komunikaci s osobami s mentálním postižením.

Abstract:

The topic of my thesis is the communication of people with mental impairment. My thesis is divided into the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part is divided into two chapters. The first chapter is focused on problems of the mental impairment. First i cover the characterization of people with mental impairment. Next I describe the classification of mental impairment by the etiology, the type of behaviour and the degree of mental impairment. At the end of the first chapter I describe the causes of the origin of mental impairment. The second chapter is focused on the communication of people with mental impairment. First i define the concept of communication and its importance for life. The next part of the second chapter is applied to the symptomatic speech disorders, which occur frequently with people with mental impairment. The last part is applied to the systems of alternative and augmentative communication. First i describe the alternative and augmentative communication, its advantages and disadvantages and standpoints, which we need to account for during the selection of the right system. Next i describe each system, which we can use for communication with people with mental impairment – communication facilitated with reference objects, Makaton, TTT system (Sign to speech), Bliss system, Pictograms, Social reading, The global method of teaching of reading, The method of DOSA and SNOEZELEN, The facilitated communication. The practical part is focused on the case study of a man with mental impairment. I used the method of direct observation and analysis of the personal documentation to obtain the infomation. I focused my observation on the communication speeches of the person observed. I determined to introduce and describe the communication of the person with the mental impairment as a main goal for my research investigation. The partial goal was focused on the utilization of the systems of altenative and augmentative communication for communication with people with mental impairment.
