The Issue of Specific Learning Difficulties in Adulthood

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na problematiku specifických poruch učení v dospělosti. Jejím cílem bylo analyzovat důsledky těchto poruch u dospělých jedinců v jejich současném životě. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí – části teoretické a části praktické, je členěna do tří kapitol. První kapitola charakterizuje obecně specifické poruchy učení, jejich etiologii a zařazení. Dále se zabývá současnou legislativou, možností péče a vzdělávání o žáky s poruchami učení. Druhá kapitola se zabývá druhy a projevy jednotlivých specifických poruch a možnostmi jejich reedukace. Třetí kapitola je praktickou částí bakalářské práce. Jsou zde zpracovány případové studie tří dospělých jedinců se specifickými poruchami učení, popsány cíle bakalářské práce, použité metody kvalitativního výzkumného šetření a závěry z tohoto výzkumu.

Abstract:

The Bachelor´s thesis focuses on the issue of specific learning disabilities in adulthood. The aim was to analyse the effects of these disorders in adults in their present life. The thesis consists of two parts – theoretical and practical part, it is subdivided into three chapters. The first chapter defines the general specific learning disabilities, their etiolgy and classification. It also deavoted to current legislation, the possibility of care and education for pupils with learning disorders. The second chapter is deals with the types and the manifestations of specific learning disabilities and possibilities of their reeducation. The third chapter is the practical part. There are case studies of three adults with specific disorders, it describes the objectives of the Bachelor´s thesis, used qualitative research methods and conclusion of this research.
