Abstract:

Absolventská práce s názvem „Životní situace migrantů v Řecku a existující systém pomoci ze strany státu a nestátních neziskových organizací“ má za cíl vytvořit materiál, který identifikuje zásadní problémy migrantů, zvláště uprchlíků, v této zemi, kteří jsou klienty Caritas Athens, a popíše možnosti pomoci ze strany státu a vybraných nestátních neziskových organizací v Řecku, které s danou cílovou skupinou pracují. Získané informace jsou aplikovány v případové studii klienta Caritas Athens. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a empirickou. V teoretické části jsou vymezeny základní pojmy spojené s migrací, nastíněna politická a ekonomická situace v Řecku a situace uprchlíků v této zemi. V další části jsou identifikovány a popsány jejich hlavní problémy, na což navazují kapitoly o možnostech pomoci ze strany státu a vybraných nestátních neziskových organizací, které s uprchlíky pracují. Empirická část je zaměřena na případovou studii konkrétní klientky Caritas Athens. V této případové studii je popsána životní situace klientky a poté identifikovány hlavní problémy, kterým musí čelit, a možnosti řešení ze strany zmíněných subjektů. Absolventská práce přináší zajímavé informace o situaci uprchlíků v Řecku, jež mohou využít nejen ti, co se o danou problematiku zajímají, ale i studenti, kteří si vyberou pro svoji zahraniční praxi právě tuto zemi.

Abstract:

The aim of my graduation thesis „Life situation of migrants in Greece and the system of assistance from government and NGOs“ is to make a material which identifies the main problems of migrants, especially refugees, in Greece, who are clients of Caritas Athens, and describes options of help to migrants from state and chosen NGOs which work with these target group. The obtained information is utilized in a case study of Caritas Athens client. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and the empirical part. In the theoretical part defines the basic concepts associated with migration, political and economic situation in Greece and situation of refugees in this country. The next chapter identifies and describes the main problems of refugees and it is followed by chapters about state`s and chosen NGOs `s options of help to this target group. The empirical part is focused on case study of particular client of Caritas Athens. Case study describes the client`s life situation and identified her main problems and options of help from state and chosen NGOs. Graduate thesis provides interesting information about situation of refugees in Greece. This information could be useful not only for those who are interested in this issue, but also for students who want to choose the practical training in Greece.
