Streamlining of Internal Logistics Using Lean Principles

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřená na zefektivnění vnitropodnikové logistiky s využitím lean principů ve vybrané společnosti. Teoretická část je zpracována na základě poznatků odborné literatury. Na tento oddíl navazuje část praktická, která analyzuje a zhodnocuje současný stav pracovišť na hale expedice. Dále následuje projektová část, jež využívá výsledky analýz k navrhnutí zlepšení vedoucí ke zvýšení výkonu výrobních procesů, které jsou součástí haly expedice. Závěr práce obsahuje celkové zhodnocení projektu a navrhovaných řešení.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis focuses on streamlining of internal logistics using lean principles in the chosen company. The theoretical part of the work is devoted to existing professional knowledge and findings. This theoretical framework is followed by the practical part which analyses and evaluates current situation and conditions at the expedition department of the company. The project part deals with the outcomes of the analyses and suggests appropriate measures to be taken in order to improve efficiency of manufacturing processes that are carried out at the expedition department. The conclusion of the thesis provides an overall summary and evaluation of the proposed improvements.
