Testing of a biometric system based on signature dynamics

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is focused on testing of biometric system based on signature dynamics, more specifically, on the analysis of attacks on the provided system Security Prototype. The aim of this thesis is to provide system specification, inform about common attacks and to test some of them. First part of the text informs about biometrics with emphasis on signature dynamics; about standardized testing methodologies and about the system Security Prototype. Second part of the thesis describes two testing scenarios that were used. It contains analysis of results and recommendations on further configuration of the system.

Abstract:

Táto práca sa zaoberá testovaním biometrického systému založeného na dynamike podpisu, konkrétne analýze útokov na poskytnutý systém Security Prototype. Cieľom práce je oboznámenie čitateľa s technológiou systému, predstaveniu bežných útokov a testovaním niektorých z nich. V prvej časti práce sú predstavené biometrické systémy s dôrazom na dynamiku podpisu, štandardizované postupy na testovanie biometrických systémov a taktiež poskytnutý biometrický systém, použitý v druhej časti práce na samotné testovanie. V ďalšej časti práce je zaznamenaný postup testovania systému pomocou dvoch scenárov, spojený s analýzou výsledkov a odporučeniami pre jeho ďalšiu konfiguráciu pred použitím v praxi.
