Průmyslové havárie velkého rozsahu patří mezi mimořádné události a je nutné se na ně účinně připravit a vytvořit tak opatření, které v potřebném rozsahu zamezí negativním dopadům na životy a zdraví osob, ale též na životní prostředí.
