Abstract:

Diplomová práce seznamuje s firmou Ignaz Klinger se sídlem v Novém Městě pod Smrkem, která byla více než 100 let součástí frýdlantského regionu a spoluvytvářela tak hospodářský a všeobecný rozvoj této lokality nejenom v sídle firmy, rovněž tak i v dalších lokalitách, kde firma podnikala, včetně italského Prata a Terni. Úvodní, teoretická část práce přibližuje vývoj podnikatelského prostředí v textilním, vlnařském odvětví v průběhu 19.století v rámci monarchie, a následně za prvé Československé republiky. Dále práce v prvé aplikační části seznamuje s textilním průmyslem v místech podnikání firmy Ignaz Klinger a se vznikem nebo procesem získání továren, které se staly součástí firmy. Pozornost je také věnována italským/toskánským akvizicím. Těžiště práce je zaměřeno na období od hospodářské krize třicátých let 20.století do roku 1945 a převzetí firmy československým státem prostřednictvím k tomu zřízeného právního institutu národní správy. Vývoj ovlivněný poválečnou situací se odehrával za situace, kdy již Klingerové nejenom, že od roku 1942 nebyli vlastníky firmy, ale stali se součástí tzv. divokého odsunu v červnu 1945. Toto období je rozčleněno na základě pro firmu uzlových bodů, kterými byly pronájem továrny, vznik akciové společnosti již za naprosté dominance bankovního kapitálu, prodej akcií bankami novým vlastníkům a zavedení národní správy. Práce je doplněna o určité srovnání s vedoucí firmou textilního průmyslu daného období, regionálně blízkým koncernem Johann Liebieg & Comp.se sídlem v Liberci.

Abstract:

This thesis introduces the Ignaz Klinger company, based in Nové Město pod Smrkem, which was part of the Frýdlant region for over 100 years. As such, the company helped not only shape the region where it was headquartered, develop the local economy, but also influenced the development in areas where the company did business, including abroad in the Italian cities of Prato and Terni. The introductory and theoretical part of the work describes the development of the textile and wool industry during the 19th century in both the Austro-Hungarian Empire and subsequent First Czechoslovak Republic. Next, in the first applied section, the textile industry in the areas where Ignaz Klinger was located is detailed. The establishment and the acquisition process of factories that became part of the company, including the Italian/Tuscan acquisitions, are described. The primary focus of this thesis starts with the economic crisis in the 1930s and continues to 1945. It includes the takeover of the company by the national legal institute created by the administrative branch of the Czechoslovak government. The next phase of the company's development was heavily influenced by the post-war situation where the Klinger family no longer actually owned the company, but where the family, in the June of 1945, was in fact part of the "wild transfer" (expulsion). This post-war period is broken down by key company milestones which where: the leasing of the factory; the formation of a joint-stock company funded by bank capital; the sale of shares by the banks to new owners; and the introduction of a national (state) management. In addition, the thesis provides a limited comparison with the leading concern in the textile industry during this period, the nearby company of Johann Liebieg & Co., which was based in Liberec.
