Using of The Excursion to Zoo in Prague in primary school education

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. V Teoretické části popisuji historii zoologické zahrady Praha od jejího založení až po současnost, dále uvádím základní informace o zvířatech z pražské zoologické zahrady vyskytující se v navržených pracovních listech v praktické části práce, seznamuji s posláním zoologické zahrady a pravidly chování návštěvníků v pražské zoologické zahradě a v závěru teoretické části uvádím základní teoretické informace o výukové metodě exkurzi. V praktické části potom uvádím tři navržené prohlídkové trasy po pražské zoologické zahradě a k nim navržené pracovní listy pro žáky pro práci v zoologické zahradě i po návratu do školy. Dále praktická část obsahuje náměty pro využití poznatků a zážitků z exkurze, které vyučující může zařadit do výuky po absolvování exkurze do pražské zoologické zahrady. Tyto náměty jsem rozdělila do vyučovacích předmětů, a to prvouky, matematiky, českého jazyka, tělesné výchovy, hudební výchovy a výtvarné výchovy. Na závěr praktické části uvádím reflexi realizované exkurze do zoologické zahrady Praha s žáky 1. stupně základní školy.

Abstract:

This Diploma Thesis has been divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part describes a history of the Prague Zoo from its establishment until now. The paper gives an overview of basic information about the animals of the Prague Zoo which can be found in the worksheets of the practical part of my diploma thesis. Further, one is introduced into the role of the Zoo in the educational process and regulations of visitors´ behavior in the Prague Zoo. In the conclusion of the theoretical part the paper provides with the basic information of teaching methods in the excursion. As for the practical part, there are three sight-seeing tours round the Prague Zoo and in addition to this there are worksheets which the pupils are supposed to work within the Zoo and also after turning back to school. Then practical part includes ideas how to use knowledge and experiences gained in the excursion, that the teacher can include in the teaching after the end of excursion. These ideas about future teaching subjects are distributed into sections for Biology, Mathematics, Czech language, Physical Education, Music teaching and Art. To conclude the practical part the paper you can find a reflection of realized excursion to Prague Zoo by pupils of the primary school.
