Alternative products as incentive for capital markets development

Abstract:

Disertační práce „Alternativní produkty jako nástroj rozvoje kapitálových trhů“ je zaměřena na výzkum podmínek pro emitování a nabízení alternativních produktů na evropských kapitálových trzích. Východiskem výzkumu je současné vymezení alternativních produktů, ekonomické i regulatorní (právní), v České republice a státech evropské unie. Předmětem výzkumu je stav současného regulatorního rámce alternativních produktů, v kontextu finanční krize, a možnosti jeho dalšího rozvoje. Výstupem výzkumu je návrh nového regulatorního rámce alternativních produktů. Shrnutí výsledků výzkumu získaných použitím popsaných vědeckých metod ověřuje předpoklad o vzájemné interakci stavu regulatorního rámce a důvěry v kapitálové trhy, která vede k podpoře jejich rozvoje.

Abstract:

This doctoral thesis “Alternative products as incentive for capital markets’ development” research focuses on overall conditions for issuance and offering of alternative products on the European capital markets. The starting point of the research is a current definition of alternative products, in economic and regulatory (legal) terms, in the Czech Republic and the European Union’s member states. The subject of the research is a current regulatory framework of alternative products, in a context of the financial crisis, and possibilities of its future development. The outcome of the research is a proposal of the new regulatory framework of alternative products. The summary of the research results obtained by using the described methods validates as a prerequisite the mutual interaction between state of regulatory framework and trust in capital markets, leading towards support of their development.
