The impact of the covid-19 pandemic on the development of domestic tourism in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá vlivem pandemie Covid-19 na rozvoj cestovního ruchu v České republice. Hlavním cílem teoretické části bakalářské práce je vymezení základních pojmů (cestovní ruch, pandemie Covid-19), které jsou obsaženy v první části teoretické části. Druhá část teoretické části je zaměřena na počty stravovacích i ubytovacích zařízení, zaměstnanost, služební cesty, ubytování spojené s přenocováním v době od roku 2019 do roku 2022. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na teoretickou, analytickou část a výstupy a poznatky práce. V teoretické části se přináší vhled do základních pojmů a rovněž na celou problematiku. Analytická část je volně navázána na kapitoly v teoretické části a obsahuje dotazníkové šetření, ve kterém bylo osloveno 130 respondentů s cílem zjistit, jak často a kam se cestovalo během pandemie. Dotazník obsahoval 18 otázek, které byly zaměřeny pouze na cestování po České republice. Vyhodnocení anonymních dotazníků a následné výstupy byly zpracovány do tabulek a grafů. Výstupy a poznatky bakalářské práce se věnuje návrhům na zlepšení cestování, zvýšení návštěvnosti, vylepšení ubytovacích a stravovacích zařízení se zaměřením na krizový management.

Abstract:

The Bachelor thesis deals with the influence of the Covid-19 pandemic on tourism development in the Czech Republic. The main aim of the theoretical part of the Bachelor's thesis is to define the basic concepts (tourism, Covid-19 pandemic) which are contained in the first part of the theoretical part. The second part of the theoretical part is focused on the numbers of catering and accommodation establishments, employment, business trips, accommodation related to overnight stays between 2019 and 2022. The Bachelor's thesis is divided into theoretical, analytical parts and outcomes and insights into the work. In the theoretical part, insight is provided into the basic concepts as well as the whole issue. The analysis section is loosely linked to chapters in the theoretical section and includes a questionnaire survey in which 130 respondents were interviewed to determine how often and where they travelled during the pandemic. The questionnaire included 18 questions that were aimed only at travelling in the Czech Republic. The evaluation of anonymous questionnaires and subsequent outputs were processed into tables and graphs. The bachelor's thesis outputs and insights are devoted to proposals to improve travel, increase attendance, improve accommodation and catering facilities with a focus on crisis management.
