Innovations in biology teaching using tablets.

Abstract:

V diplomové práci jsou zpracovány rešerše týkající se možností využití tabletu v přírodních vědách s důrazem na inovativní metody, společně s obecnou charakteristikou přenosných dotykových zařízení a jejich komponent. Práce dále obsahuje přehled vybraných vzdělávacích aplikací operačních systémů iOS, Android a Windows, jež se dají s využitím tabletu aplikovat v hodinách prvouky, přírodopisu a biologie. Součástí práce jsou dále videonávody s vybranými aplikacemi, rozhovory s žáky o problematice využívání tabletů ve výuce přírodovědných předmětů a ukázky výuky s tablety. Jedna kapitola je věnována vzdělávání učitelů pro výuku přírodovědných předmětů s tablety.

Abstract:

The thesis focuses on investigating research that is connected with the possibility of the usage of tablets in natural science. The emphasis is put on innovative methods as well as on a general characteristic of portable touch screen devices and their components. The thesis also contains an overview of selected educational applications of operating systems iOS, Android and Windows, which can be applied in the lessons of general science, natural science and biology. One part of the thesis deals with video guidelines connected with the selected applications, dialogues with pupils about issues of using tablets in science education and demonstrations of teaching with tablets. One chapter focuses on the education of natural science teachers with regards to using tablets as a teaching tool.
