Nickel from the perspective of nutrition therapy
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce nejdříve představuje dostupné informace o niklu. Zabývá se jeho obecnou charakteristikou, výskytem v přírodě, a hlavně v potravinách. Dále se věnuje metabolismu niklu, biochemickým funkcím, souvislosti niklu a výživy. Poté se práce zmiňuje o potravinové alergii a zaměřuje na samotné onemocnění alergie na nikl a na stravu s nízkým obsahem niklu. V praktické části jsou uvedeny kazuistiky …more

The bachelor thesis first presents available informations about nickel. It deals with its general characteristics, its occurence in nature and especially in food. It also deals with nickel metabolism, biochemical functions, nickel and nutrition. Then the thesis mentions food allergy and focuses on the disease itself nickel allergy and on a low nickel diet.
