The Organization and the Problem of Confidence

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá úlohou důvěry v organizacích. V první kapitole je popsána proměna tradiční společnosti v moderní s akcentem na důvěru. S proměnou společnosti také souvisí transformace organizačního uspořádání firem. Oproti klasickým formálním organizacím se začínají objevovat také organizace se síťovou strukturou. Pomocí komparace těchto dvou odlišných modelů organizací je v práci popsáno to, jak se v obou typech organizací projevuje prvek důvěry či její deficit. V další části se práce zaměřuje na to, jak česká legislativa, konkrétně novelizace zákoníku práce, zvyšuje či snižuje míru důvěry mezi organizacemi a jejími zaměstnanci.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the role of trust in organizations. The first chapter describes the transformation of traditional society into a modern, with an emphasis on confidence. With the change of society is also related the change of organizational structure of companies. Beside the classic formal organizations there are emerging network organizations. Using the comparison of these two different models of organizations thesis describes how is in both types of organizations expressed an element of trust or its deficit. The next part of thesis discusses how the Czech legislation, namely the amendment of the Labour Code, increases or decreases the level of trust between the organizations and its employees.
