Abstract:

Tématem mé bakalářské práce je využití hybridních systémů SPECT/CT v onkologické diagnostice. Teoretická část se zabývá v první kapitole obecnou problematikou nádorů, rozdělením nádorů a jejich epidemiologií, včetně TNM klasifikace. Druhá kapitola je zaměřena na onkologickou diagnostiku. Třetí kapitola se zabývá samotnými metodami nukleární medicíny v onkologické diagnostice, z nichž ty nejčastěji využívané jsou detailněji popsány. Ve čtvrté kapitole se věnuji scintigrafii, je zde vysvětlen princip detekce gama záření a probráno technické vybavení. Poslední kapitola je věnována hybridním systémům, konkrétně SPECT/CT, zmíním se také o PET/CT. Praktická část je tvořena samotnou studií. Zaměřuji se na soubor pacientů s karcinomem štítné žlázy, u nichž byla provedena celotělová scintigrafie a následně SPECT/CT po aplikaci 131I. Pacienti podstoupili tato vyšetření v období od 1.10.2014 do 15.3.2015 na Klinice nukleární medicíny Fakultní nemocnice v Ostravě. Cílem mé studie bylo vytvořit srovnání zobrazení SPECT/CT s planárním skenem po celotělové scitigrafii a tím zjistit přínos hybridního zobrazení SPECT/CT.

Abstract:

The topic of this Bachelor thesis is the use of hybrid imaging SPECT/CT in oncological diagnostics. The theoretical part is in its first chapter focused on the general problematic of tumors, their categorization and epidemiology, including the TNM classification. The second chapter deals with oncological diagnostics. In the third chapter there are mentioned methods of nuclear medicine in oncological diagnosis themselves; the most commonly used ones are described in detail. In the fourth chapter I deal with scintigraphy, in which the principal of gamma radiation detection is explained and the technical equipment is discussed. The last chapter is devoted to hybrid systems, SPECT/CT in particular and PET/CT is mentioned as well. The practical part contains the study itself. I focused on a group of patients with a thyroid carcinoma, who were examined by a whole-body scintigraphy followed by SPECT/CT after the application of 131I. The patients underwent these examinations during the period between 1st October 2014 and 15th March 2015 in the Clinic of nuclear medicine in the University hospital Ostrava. The aim of my study is to compare SPECT/CT imaging with a planar scan, the whole-body scintigraphy respectively in order to find out the contribution of hybrid SPECT/CT imaging.
