The inlfuence of costs and profits on the result of economy in chosen enterprice

Abstract:

This diploma work analyzes the costs and revenues of the business and evaluates their influence on the profit and loss. The goal of my diploma work is to propose the possibilities of how to raise the competitiveness of the business through increasing the business effectiveness and point out the issues of how to use the business finances in more effective way. The diploma work is divided into three logically connected chapters, theoretical, analytical and proposal one. Initial, theoretical part of my diploma work characterizes the business as a place where the costs and revenues are created, we analyze in detail issues of costs and revenues from theoretical point of view and analyze the costs and revenues as basic economical categories. At the end of the initial part we describe costs and revenues of business and its classification according to Slovak legal system and define the businesses profit and loss and its forms. We also pay attention to possibilities of how to influence the result of the profit and loss in the business. The second, analytical part of the diploma work describes the analysis of costs and revenues of the company from year 2005 to 2009. This part also contains the brief general characteristic of the business, its history, goals, mission, and subject of trade and analysis of the company. The third, proposing part of my diploma work includes the proposals which should help the company to decrease the costs or / increase the revenues and simultaneously to help increase the company´s competitiveness. We also analyzed the financial situation of the company and introduced the plan how to decrease the costs and increase the revenues for the forthcoming period.

Abstract:

Diplomová práca sa zaoberá analýzou nákladov, výnosov a zhodnocuje ich vplyvy na výsledok hospodárenia. Cieľom diplomovej práce je navrhnúť možné opatrenia na zvýšenie konkurencieschopnosti firmy zefektívnením jej činnosti a upozorniť na problémy v oblasti efektívnejšieho využívania finančných prostriedkov. Problematika diplomovej práce je rozdelená do troch logicky na seba nadväzujúcich častí a to teoretickej, analytickej a návrhovej. V prvej, teoretickej časti charakterizujeme podnik ako miesto vzniku nákladov a výnosov, detailne analyzujeme problematiku nákladov a výnosov z teoretického hľadiska a rozanalyzujeme náklady a výnosy ako základné ekonomické kategórie. V závere popisujeme náklady a výnosy z podnikateľskej činnosti a ich klasifikáciu podľa slovenskej právnej úpravy a definujeme výsledok hospodárenia a jeho formy, a venujeme sa možnostiam ovplyvňovania nákladov a výnosov na úrovni podniku. V druhej, analytickej časti práce popisujeme analýzu nákladov a výnosov v podniku za roky 2005-2009. Táto časť taktiež obsahuje aj stručnú všeobecnú charakteristiku firmy, jej históriu, ciele, poslanie, popis predmetu činnosti a analýzu vybraného podnikateľského subjektu. Tretia, návrhová časť práce obsahuje návrhy, pomocou ktorých by firma mohla znížiť náklady, resp. zvýšiť výnosy a súčasne si zvýšiť svoju konkurencieschopnosť. V tejto časti sme zároveň rozanalyzovali finančnú situáciu firmy a predložili sme plán na zníženie nákladov a zvýšenie výnosov na nadchádzajúce obdobie.
