This bachelor´s thesis is focused on the role of geometric shapes in symbolism in the Baroque meditative poetry by Fridrich Bridel. The theoretical part defines the basic concept of this genre - meditative literature, describes the Baroque atmosphere and explains the position of the symbol in the Baroque period.
