Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá benchmarkingem v hotelnictví. Porovnávají se výkonnostní ukazatele u dvou hotelů. Veškerá data jsou získaná z rozhovorů, vlastním pozorováním a z interních informačních zdrojů systému hotelů. Hlavní cíl práce je provézt benchmarkingovou analýzu na Landgut und Spa Althof hotel a Premium hotel a navrhnout pro oba hotely možné změny v některých výkonnostních ukazatelích. V této práci také byla provedena SWOT analýza, která přispěla k identifikaci slabých stránek a bylo tak možné pro každý hotel v určitém sektoru navrhnout specifické změny, které vedou ke zlepšení a zvýšení konkurenceschopnosti. Práce přispívá k odborné diskusi o aplikaci benchmarkingu v hotelnictví a poskytuje praktická doporučení pro provozovatele hotelů v oblasti zlepšování jejich výkonnosti a konkurenceschopnosti.

Abstract:

This master thesis focuses on benchmarking in the hotel industry, comparing performance indicators of two hotels. All data are obtained from interviews, direct observations, and internal information sources of the hotel systems. The main objective of this study is to conduct benchmarking analysis on Landgut und Spa Althof Hotel and Premium Hotel and propose possible changes in selected performance indicators. Additionally, a SWOT analysis was conducted to identify weaknesses and suggest measures that will lead to their improvement and increase their competitiveness. This work contributes to the professional discussion on the application of benchmarking in the hotel industry and provides practical recommendations for hotel operators to enhance their performance and competitiveness.
