Incidence of injuries in floorball

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je poskytnout retrospektivní informace o výskytu zranění u florbalistů z České republiky a zjistit, zda se výskyt zranění liší mezi dobou, kdy byl florbal pouze rekreační aktivitou, a současností, kdy se jedná o téměř profesionální sport. Druhým cílem je popsat nejčastější zranění florbalistů. Pro sběr dat byl zvolen standardizovaný dotazník, který byl doplněn o demografickou část, ten byl následně online formou předán trenérům superligových mužstev, kteří dotazník předali svým svěřencům. Do dotazníkového šetření se zapojilo 53 ze 308 hráčů. Výsledky šetření ukázaly, že nejčastěji zraněnou částí těla je zadní stehenní sval a také bylo zjištěno, že nejčastější příčinou je bezkontaktní zranění.

Abstract:

The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to provide retrospective information on the incidence of injuries in floorball players from the Czech Republic and to determine whether the incidence of injuries differs between the time when floorball was only a recreational activity and the present time when it is almost a professional sport. The second objective is to describe the most common injuries of floorball players. A standardized questionnaire was chosen for data collection, which was supplemented with a demographic part, and then it was submitted online to coaches of superleague teams who gave the questionnaire to their players. 53 out of 308 players participated in the questionnaire survey. The results of the survey showed that the most commonly injured part of the body was the posterior thigh muscle and it was also found that non-contact injuries were the most common cause.
