The authority of the teacher through the eyes of secondary vocational school students

Anotácia:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na autoritu učitele očima žáků středních odborných škol. Cílem teoretické části je definovat pojem autorita, její charakteristiku a vy-mezit typologii autority. Dále vysvětlit pojem autorita učitele, formální a nefor-mální autoritu, osobnost učitele a vztah mezi učitelem a žáky, ve které se prolíná moc ve výuce, školní kázeň a poslušnost vůči autoritě. Metoda použitá v teoretické části je analýza, srovnání a syntéza teoretických poznatků z odborných zdrojů. Cí-lem praktické části je zjistit preference žáků, resp. vlastností učitele, aby ho pova-žovali za přirozenou autoritu. Co si představují pod pojmem autorita a jakého uči-tele by si představovali. Bylo použito dotazníkové šetření. Nástrojem průzkumné-ho šetření byl dotazník a respondenti byli žáci středních odborných škol.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis is focused on the authority of the teacher through the eyes of secondary vocational school students. Objective of the theoretical part is to define the concept of authority, its characteristics and the definition of the typology of authority. Further explain the concept of teacher authority, formal and informal authority, teacher a personality and the relationship between teacher and stu-dents, in which power in teaching, school discipline and obedience to authority intertwine. The methodology used in the theoretical part is the analysis, compari-son and synthesis of theoretical findings from specialised literature. Objective of the practical part is to find out the preferences of students, respectively character-istics of the teacher to be considered a natural authority. What do they imagine under the terms authority and what kind of teacher would they imagine. A ques-tionnaire survey was used. The tool of the exploratory investigation was a ques-tionnaire and the respondents were students of secondary vocational schools.
