Práce zachycuje vývoj textilní výroby v Liberci, výrobní a sociální problematiku ve vybraných podnicích v 19. století s přihlédnutím k historickým kořenům oboru od vzniku soukenického cechu. Podrobněji se věnuje vzniku prvních manufaktur a textilních továren v regionu, sleduje objem i sortiment výroby, zaměstnanost, obchodní politiku. This paper describes the progress of textile industry in Liberec, production and social questions in some textile companies in the 19th century. It presents growing of the first manufactories and textile factories in the region, their employees and business policy.
