Abstract:

The main topic of this work is the analysis of the book by Pavel Kohout „Konec velkých prázdnin “. The author wrote several fictive stories about people who emigrated in 1980s from the communist Czechoslovakia to Austria. The main goal of this work was to prove or disprove the hypothesis that those stories are based on real stories of real emigrants. There is a connection of this book to the literature theory about exile literature. This term was described in the theoretical part. All results were compared and later summarized.

Abstract:

Hlavním tématem této práce je rozbor knihy od Pavla Kohouta „Konec velkých prázdnin“, která pomocí fiktivních příběhů představuje příběhy lidí, kteří v 80. letech minulého století emigrovali z tehdejšího totalitního Československa do Rakouska. Cílem této práce bylo potvrdit nebo vyvrátit hypotézu, že příběhy, se opravdu podobají skutečným příběhům tehdejších emigrantů. V souvislosti s touto knihou se lze bavit o exilové literatuře, protože sám spisovatel žil po emigraci v exilu a z tohoto důvodu je tématu „Exilová literatura“ věnován prostor v teoretické části této práce. Získané poznatky jsou pak mezi s sebou porovnávány a výsledky následně shrnuty.
