Take-off asymmetry from take-off and non-take-off limb in athletics jumping events

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je posoudit asymetrie mezi odrazovou a neodrazovou dolní končetinou u atletů skokanských disciplín. Teoretická část se zabývá technikou a tréninkem skokanských disciplín, kinetikou, kinematikou a základy symetrie. V praktické části bakalářské práce je popsáno testování, kterého se dobrovolně zúčastnilo jedenáct probandů. Podmínkou byla minimálně dvouletá praxe ve skokanských disciplínách. Test se skládal z pěti platných odrazů z dynamometrické plošiny Kistler která byla synchronizována se soustavou devíti infrakamer typu Qualysis Oqus 100. Model lidského těla byl vytvořen přes software Visual3D a výsledná data byla zpracována v programu Qualysis track manager. Výsledky testu byly následně dosazeny do Cohenova vzorce pro výpočet efektu věcné významnosti. Po dosazení do Cohenova vzorce měly naměřené hodnoty pouze malý, nebo zanedbatelný, věcně významný efekt. Z tohoto výsledku vyplývá, že skokanský trénink nemá významný vliv na asymetrii odrazu z odrazové a neodrazové dolní končetiny.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to assess the asymmetry between the take-off and nontake-off limb in athletics jumping events. The theoretical part deals with technique and training of jump disciplines, kinetics, kinematics and basics of symmetry. In the practical part the is described testing, which was voluntarily attended by eleven probands. The condition was at least two years of experience in jumping disciplines. The test consisted of five valid jumps from dynamometric platform Kistler that was synchronized with a system of nine infrared cameras Qualysis Oqus 100. The human body model was created by Visual3D software and the resulting data was processed in Qualysis track manager. The test results were then substituted into the Cohen formula for calculating the Effect size. After substitution into the Cohen formula, the measured values had only a small or negligible effect size. This result shows that jumping training does not have a significant effect on the asymmetry of take-off from the take-off and non-take-off lower limb.
