The influence of tendencies towards pupil's aggression on the school class environment

Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem "Vliv tendencí k agresivitě žáků na klima školní třídy" se zabývá agresivním chováním žáků v 6. až 9. ročníku základní školy. Cílem je zjistit, zda výskyt agresivního chování u jednotlivců ovlivňuje celkové klima ve třídě. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a empirickou část. V teoretické části se soustředíme na základní charakteristiky, klasifikaci agrese, druhy, faktory, rozdělení a příčiny. Charakterizujeme, jaké je klima ve třídě a co je v ní obsaženo. Zaměříme se také na období dospívání a jeho popis. Cílem empirické části diplomové práce je zjistit, zda míra agresivního chování jedince má vliv na školní klima třídy. Použijeme k tomu kvantitativní výzkum, který hodnotí vyšší a nižší míru fyzické a verbální agresivity, hostility a vzteku na základní aspekty utvářející klima třídy: vztahy mezi spolužáky a jejich spolupráci, vnímání učitele jako zdroj opory a osoby s rovným přístupem, přenosem naučeného mezi školou a rodinou, preferováním soutěžení a vnímání dění během přestávek. Provedeno bylo dotazníkové šetření u celkem 205 respondentů na 2. stupni vybraných základní školy realizováno ve školním roce 2020/2021. Použity byly standardizované dotazníky. Dotazník agrese Buss a Perry (BPAQ) a dotazník Klima školní třídy (Mareš, Ježek). Dotazníky jsou vyhodnoceny a statisticky zpracovány. Byl stanoven výzkumný problém, výzkumné otázky a hypotézy.

Abstract:

Diploma theses titled "The influence of tendencies towards pupil's aggression on the school class environment" deals with aggressive behaviour of 6-9th grade Elementary school students. The aim is to determine if aggressive behaviour presence at individuals has an influence on general classroom climate. The work is divided to a theoretical and an empirical part. Within the theoretical part we focus on the basic characterizations, classifications of aggression, its types, factors, sorting and causations. We describe what the classroom climate is and what is the content in it. We also focus at growing up period and its description. The aim of empirical part is to find out if aggressive behaviour rate of individuals is influential in classroom climate. For this purpose, we are going to use quantitative research, that evaluates higher and lower rate of physical and verbal aggressivity, hostility and rage to the fundamental aspects creating classroom climate: e.g. relations among classmates, viewing of teacher as a source of support and persons with equal access as well, transfer of learning between school and family, preference for competition and events perception during time breaks at school. The questionnaire research has been accomplished with 205 elementary school respondents in total, realised in 2020/2021. There have been used standardized questionnaires. The Buss and Perry (BPAQ) questionnaire and Classroom climate questionnaire (Mareš, Ježek). The questionnaires are evaluated and statistically processed. The research problem, research questions and hypothesis have been assessed.
