Implementation of the concept of basal stimulation in the nursing process at the Masaryk Memorial Cancer Institute

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce pojednává o procesu začleňování Bazální stimulace do ošetřovatelské péče poskytované pacientům v Masarykově onkologickém ústavu v Brně. V teoretické části je představeno zmiňované zdravotnické zařízení, dále je zde řešena problematika ošetřovatelského procesu včetně procesu zavádění změn na pracovišti, je definován koncept Bazální stimulace a poslední část je věnována zdravotnické dokumentaci a standardům ošetřovatelské péče. Praktická část je rozdělena na dvě hlavní kapitoly. V první kapitole je představen proces začleňování Bazální stimulace do ošetřovatelské praxe a dále jsou představeny nově vypracované dokumenty k Bazální stimulaci používané v Masarykově onkologickém ústavu ? návrh standardu ošetřovatelské péče, manuál k jednotlivým technikám konceptu Bazální stimulace, popis elektronické dokumentace a popis biografické anamnézy. V druhé kapitole je ověřeno využití návrhu standardu v praxi formou vypracování kazuistiky pacienta, u něhož byly použity v ošetřovatelském procesu základní a nástavbové prvky konceptu Bazální stimulace. V diskuzi jsou konfrontovány zjištěné výsledky výzkumu s výsledky výzkumů jiných autorů na totožné téma.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the implementation of Basal stimulation in the nursing process at the Masaryk Memorial Cancer Institute in Brno. In the theoretical part there is an introduction of this medical facility, there is also the definition of the nursing process including the workplace change process, the Basal stimulation concept is defined and the last part is dedicated to the medical record and the nursing standards of care. The practical part is divided into two chapters. The first chapter is about the implementation of the Basal stimulation concept in the nursing process. New created documents related to Basal stimulation using at the Masaryk Memorial Cancer Institute are also presented in this chapter ? concept of the nursing care standards, manual for all Basal stimulation techniques, description of the electronic medical record and description of biographical anamnesis. In the second chapter there is a verification of the concept of the nursing care standards in practice. For this verification was used the case study method. The basic and expanded elements of the Basal stimulation concept were used in this study. In the discussion part the study results are confronted with another authors' conclusions.
