Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá identifikací způsobů začlenění osob po výkonu trestu odnětí svobody zpět do společnosti. Konkrétně se zaměřuje na to, jak si jedinci zajišťují bydlení, hledají zaměstnání na trhu práce, řeší finanční dluhy vzniklé během pobytu ve vězení a celkově, jaký je způsob živobytí těchto jedinců po propuštění. První část práce charakterizuje základní teze tématu, které zahrnují vězeňskou službu ČR, výkon trestu odnětí svobody, reintegraci, penitenciární a postpenitenciární péči, probační a mediační službu, práci s odsouzenými v průběhu a po ukončení výkonu trestu odnětí svobody, a také faktory ovlivňující schopnost úspěšné reintegrace a odvrácení od trestné činnosti založené na referovaných odborných článcích. Druhá část se skládá z analýzy sekundárních dat ze statistických ročenek Vězeňské služby ČR v letech od 2012 do 2022 a z kvalitativního výzkumu prostřednictvím polostrukturovaných rozhovorů se 7 respondenty. Výsledky výzkumu ukazují různé strategie a obtíže při reintegraci, které ovlivňují schopnost úspěšného znovuzačlenění po výkonu trestu odnětí svobody. Tato práce přispívá k lepšímu pochopení procesů reintegrace a k navrhování opatření pro podporu úspěšného začlenění bývalých vězňů do společnosti.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the identification of ways of integrating people back into society after serving a prison sentence. Specifically, it focuses on how individuals secure housing, find employment in the labour market, deal with financial debts incurred while in prison, and overall, what is the livelihood of these individuals upon release. The first part of the thesis characterizes the basic theses of the topic, which include the prison service of the Czech Republic, the execution of imprisonment, reintegration, penitentiary and post-penitentiary care, probation and mediation services, work with convicts during and after imprisonment, as well as factors influencing the ability to successfully reintegrate and turn away from crime based on the reported scholarly articles. The second part consists of analysis of secondary data from the statistical yearbooks of the Prison Service of the Czech Republic from 2012 to 2022 and qualitative research through semi-structured interviews with 7 respondents. The results of the research show different strategies and difficulties in reintegration that affect the ability to successfully reintegrate after imprisonment. This work contributes to a better understanding of reintegration processes and to the design of measures to promote the successful reintegration of ex-prisoners into society.
