The role of family centres - a comparison of Czech and English family centres

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se snaží nalézt odpověď na tuto základní výzkumnou otázku: „Liší se role českých center pro rodinu od anglických rodinných center a v čem?“ Práce je rozdělena do tří hlavních částí. První, teoretická část, se zabývá definicí základního pojmu „role center pro rodinu“. Obsahuje také přehled kritérií, která jsem v jednotlivých centrech porovnávala. Druhá část představuje metodiku a centra pro rodinu, která jsem použila pro svůj výzkum. Třetí část práce zahrnuje interpretaci získaných dat. Na základě výzkumu jsem dospěla k závěru, že skutečně existují rozdíly mezi rodinnými centry v České republice a v Anglii. V závěru také shrnuji, v čem tyto rozdíly mezi centry pro rodinu spočívají a co bych na (základě výsledků výzkumu) doporučila pracovníkům českých rodinných center dělat jinak. Abstract:

The aim of this research is to find the answer to this basic research question: “Is there any difference between the role of Czech and English family centres and if so, what is the difference about?” The paper is divided into three main parts. The first, theoretical part, deals with a definition of the basic term ‘the role of family centres’. It also involves the review of criteria which I used for the comparison of the centres. The second part presents the methodology and family centres which I used for the research. The third part of the paper involves the interpretation of collected data. The conclusion is that there really are differences between the family centres in the Czech Republic and in England. In the conclusion I also summarize what these differences are about and what I recommend to do in other way (based on the research results) in the Czech family centres.
