The objective of the bachelor thesis was to provide a brief insight into the language variations of American English. To achieve a goal of illustrating a complex overview of the theme, a variety of sources were used, which provided different reflections from fields of history, morphology, phonology, and lexis. Cílem této bakalářské práce bylo poskytnout stručný náhled na jazykové variace americké angličtiny. Za účelem zdárného doložení komplexního přehledu, bylo použito množství zdrojů, které poskytovaly pohledy ze strany historie, morfologie, fonologie a slovní zásoby. Teorie byla podporována příklady.
