Development of Fine Motor Skills Based on the Upcycling Process in Pupils at the 1st Grade of Elementary Schools

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá rozvojem jemné motoriky na základě procesu upcyklace. Hlavním cílem průzkumného šetření je navrhnout a ověřit soubor námětů pro rozvoj jemné motoriky na základě využití procesu upcyklace v pracovních činnostech na 1. stupni ZŠ. Zjistit, do jaké míry má zařazení upcyklace vliv na rozvoj jemné motoriky žáků 1. stupně ZŠ. Teoretická část diplomové práce se zaměřuje na motoriku, a to především jemnou motoriku, dále jsou vymezeny pojmy upcyklace a recyklace, rámcový vzdělávací program a v neposlední řadě se tato práce zabývá pracovní výchovou na 1. stupni ZŠ a také se zmiňuje o používaných materiálech. Praktická část diplomové práce obsahuje osm námětů na základě procesu upcyklace. Zda došlo ke změně úrovně jemné motoriky během realizace námětů u sledovaných žáků, bylo hodnoceno na základě pretestu a posttestu, které byly provedeny před realizací a po realizaci zmíněných námětů. Hypotézy o výsledcích rozvoje jemné motoriky jsou ověřeny na základě Wilcoxonova testu.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis focuses on the development of fine motor skills through the upcycling process. The main aim of the exploratory research is to propose and verify a set of topics for the enhancement of fine motor skills based on the utilization of the upcycling process in practical activities at the primary level of elementary school. It seeks to determine the extent to which the inclusion of upcycling influences the development of fine motor skills in first- grade students. The theoretical part of the thesis centers on motor skills, particularly fine motor skills. Additionally, it defines the concepts of upcycling and recycling, the Framework Educational Program, and lastly, it addresses Vocational Training at the primary level of elementary school, as well as mentioning the materials used. The practical section of the thesis includes eight topics based on the upcycling process. The evaluation of whether there is a change in the level of fine motor skills during the implementation of these topics among the observed students is conducted through pre-tests and post-tests before and after the implementation of the mentioned topics. Hypotheses regarding the results of fine motor skills development are verified based on the Wilcoxon test.
