Determining the pricing policy of metallurgic material in a commercial company

Abstract:

Smyslem bakalářské práce je analyzovat cenovou tvorbu v oddělení prodeje hutního materiálu firmy XY, s.r.o. a poté navrhnout možné změny v této oblasti. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena do dvou částí, a to na teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část je zaměřena na cenovou politiku, tvorbu cen a metody tvorby, strategii cenových úprav. Praktická část představuje firmu XY, s.r.o., která se věnuje systému řízení obchodování v oddělení hutního materiálu, stanovení průběžných cen v závislosti na obrátce jednotlivého zboží a zbožních skupin, preferování zákazníků podle dosahovaného ročního obratu, včetně návrhů a doporučení pro možné zlepšení cenové politiky.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the pricing in the metallurgical department of XY, Ltd. and after that suggest possible changes in this area. The thesis is divided into two parts, namely on the theoretical and the practical. The theoretical part focuses on the pricing policy, pricing and production methods, the strategy of price adjustments. The practical part of an XY Company, Ltd. which deals with business management in the department of metallurgical materials, provision of interim price, depending on the turnaround of individual goods and commodity groups. It includes preference of customers according to attainment of the annual turnover, including proposals and recommendations for possible improvement in pricing.
