Diplomová práce je zaměřena na procesní řízení, modelování business a IT procesů v obecné rovině a v pojišťovnictví. V teoretické části je zmíněna historie a vývoj pojišťovnictví, právní předpisy a vyhlášky, kterými je oblast pojišťovnictví vymezena. Následuje definování procesního managementu a jeho nástrojů.
