Abstract:
The diploma thesis „Georg Friedrich Händel: Saul“ describes the life and work of Georg Friedrich Händel with focus on his oratorios, especially the Saul oratorio. In the thesis I also portray the libretto and the character of Charles Jennens, who was the librettist of this oratorio.
