This thesis deals with the ecocritical analysis of the poetry of Emily Dickinson and primarily focuses on poems depicting divergent environments. The aim of the thesis is to present Dickinson as someone who deeply understood the interconnectedness of all things, an idiosyncratic perception of the world that she was able to capture in her poems.
