Teacher´s Management Skills Applied in Managing the Class of Children in Kindergarten

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá manažerskými dovednostmi učitele, které lze vnímat jako klíčové při managementu třídy dětí v mateřské škole. V teoretické části je analyzováno současné pojetí managementu třídy učitele, popsán učitel jako významný činitel v managementu třídy, jsou definovány strategie a styly řízení managementu učitele a vymezeny manažerské dovednosti učitele a specifikace jejich významu pro praxi v mateřské škole. Praktická část byla realizována prostřednictvím kvantitativního výzkumu, za použití dotazníkového šetření. Hlavním cílem je analyzovat uplatňování manažerských dovedností a strategií učitele při managementu třídy.

Abstract:

The master´s thesis deals with the managerial skills of the teacher, which can be perceived as key in managing a class of children in kindergarten. In the theoretical part, the current concept of teacher classroom management is analysed, the teacher is described as an important factor in classroom management, the strategies and management styles of the teacher are defined, and the teacher's management skills are defined and the specification of their importance for the teacher's practice in kindergarten. The practical part is implemented in the form of quantitative research, using a questionnaire survey. The main goal is to analyse the application of management skills and strategies of the teacher in classroom management.
