One endless reality

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce analyzuje koncept jedné nekonečné reality a jeho projevy v softwarovém umění. Práce poskytuje výklad založený na stávajících poznatcích o kulturních a historických počátcích tohoto pojmu a sleduje jeho kořeny v literatuře, filozofii a umění. Prostřednictvím analýzy děl průkopnických umělců a současných praktiků nabízí nové pohledy na povahu reality a na to, jak může umění přispět k jejímu hlubšímu pochopení. Práce obsahuje také praktickou složku, v níž je pomocí kódu vytvořena abstraktní algoritmická animace, která demonstruje potenciál tohoto média pro pohlcující a interaktivní zážitky. Celkově si tato práce klade za cíl přispět k našemu chápání vztahu mezi uměním a technologií a nabídnout nové pohledy na koncept nekonečna.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis analyses the concept of one infinite reality and its manifestations in software art. The thesis provides an interpretation based on existing knowledge of the cultural and historical origins of the concept and traces its roots in literature, philosophy and art. Through analysis of the work of pioneering artists and contemporary practitioners, it offers new insights into the nature of reality and how art can contribute to a deeper understanding of it. The work also includes a practical component in which abstract algorithmic animation is created using code to demonstrate the potential of this medium for immersive and interactive experiences. Overall, this thesis aims to contribute to our understanding of the relationship between art and technology and offer new insights into the concept of infinite.
