Risk Factors in the Development of a Child's Personality from the Kindergarten Teachers Perspective

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá rizikovými faktory v rozvoji osobnosti dítěte v perspektivě učitelů mateřských škol. Práce je založena na teoreticko-výzkumném charakteru. Jejím cílem je zjistit, jaké faktory považují učitelé mateřských škol za rizikové. Teoretická část se zabývá vývojem osobnosti dítěte a blíže popisuje determinanty, které se podílejí na jejím formování. Zaměřuje se na socializační činitele především z rodinného a školního prostředí, včetně rizikových faktorů, které ovlivňují utváření osobnosti dítěte. Praktická část je realizována prostřednictvím kvalitativního výzkumu. Zvolila jsem metodu polostrukturovaného interview a techniku otevřeného kódování. Výzkumný soubor tvoří učitelky tradičních mateřských škol, jejichž praxe je delší než pět let. Z výsledků výzkumu vyplývá, že učitelky vnímají za rizikové spíše vnější faktory, a to především výchovné extrémy, rodinný rozpad, uzavřenost skupin, narůstající agresivitu, rizikovost učitele a negativní dopad médií. Je doporučen webinář, podpora rodin znevýhodněných, spolupráce s odborníky a den bez elektroniky.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on risk factors in the development of a child's personality from the kindergarten teachers perspective. The work is based on a theoretical-research character. Its purpose is to find out what factors kindergarten teachers consider to be risky. The theoretical part deal with the development of the child's personality and describes in more detail the determinants involved in its formation. It focuses on socialization factors mainly from the family and school environment, including risk factors that influence the formation of a child's personality. The practical part presents the results of the qualitative research. I chose the semi-structured interview method and the open coding technique. The research group consists of teachers of traditional kindergartens, whose experience is longer than five years. The results of the research show that teachers perceive more external factors as risky, namely educational extremes, family breakdown, closed groups, increasing aggressiveness, the teacher's riskiness and the negative impact of the media. A webinar, support for disadvantaged families, collaboration with experts and day without electronics are recommended.
