Práce se zabývá vnitrostátními konflikty (občanskými válkami) v Libyi a v Sýrii. Nejprve práce shrnuje teoretické poznatky týkající se občanské války, řešení (vzniklých) konfliktů a humanitární intervence (koncept R2P). This thesis deals with intra-state conflicts (civil wars) in Libya and Syria. Firstly thesis summarizes theoretical remarks about civil war, conflict resolution and humanitarian intervention. Thereafter thesis analyses civil wars in Libya and Syria.
