Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na postavení Indie na světovém trhu cukru. V první kapitole je popsána historie cukru jako komodity, vývoj jeho spotřeby a produkce, také jsou zde analyzovány globální aktéři tohoto odvětví. The Bachelor´s thesis aimes at the position of India on the world sugar market. The first chapter describes the sugar history, development of its consumption and production, the global acters in this field are analysed as well.
