The needs of the families with children, living in the hostels in the territory of the Statutory city of Ostrava , in the field of living conditions.

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tématem potřeb rodin s dětmi v oblasti bydlení, které žijí v ubytovnách na území statutárního města Ostrava. Jejím hlavním cílem je zjistit faktory, které vedou rodiny s dětmi k životu v ubytovně, a také zjistit, jaké mají tyto rodiny s dětmi potřeby v oblasti bydlení. V teoretické části jsou popsány základní pojmy a také teoretická východiska práce. Jsou zde vymezeny pojmy bydlení, rodiny, bezdomovectví. Dále jsou shrnuty problémy rodin v oblasti bydlení a možnosti řešení problémů, jaká se nabízí těmto rodinám pomoc v naší zemi, což souvisí s jednotlivými typy bydlení pro nízkopříjmové rodiny s dětmi. V poslední kapitole teoretické části se věnuji právě ubytovnám. V empirické části píši o výzkumu, který byl zaměřen na nízkopříjmové rodiny s dětmi žijící v ubytovnách (dle typologie ETHOS se jedná o osoby bez bytu) na území statutárního města Ostrava. Pro účely výzkumu byla zvolena kvalitativní výzkumná strategie, metoda osobní případové studie a technika polostrukturovaného rozhovoru. Terénní výzkum byl rovněž zaměřen na zjištění, jakým způsobem chtějí rodiny s dětmi svou situaci v oblasti bydlení řešit a jak hodnotí své možnosti na získání bydlení.

Abstract:

The Diploma Thesis deals with the theme of needs in housing of families with children living in a lodging house in Statutory City of Ostrava. The main aim of the Thesis is to ascertain the factors leading the families with children to live in a lodging house and also to find out which their needs there are in an area of living. In the theoretical part there are discribed basic notions and also theoretical bases of work. There are defined terms of housing, family, homelessness. Then there is made the families problems in housing summary and the problems resolving possibilities, what kind of assistance is offered to these families in our country which is associated with different types of housing for low-income families with children. In the last chapter of the theoretical part I am devoted to lodging houses namely. In the empirical part I write about the research that was focused on low-income families with children living in lodging houses (according to the ETHOS typology they are persons without dwelling) within the Statutory City of Ostrava. For the research purposes there were chosen qualitative research strategy, personal case studies method and semi-structured interview technique. The field research was also focused on determining how the families with children want to resolve their housing situation and how they evaluate their chances of obtaining housing.
