Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá vnímanými možnostmi participace uživatelů v azylovém domě pro muže u vybrané neziskové organizace, pohledem jeho klientů a pracovníků. Teoretická část práce se věnuje fenoménu bezdomovectví, jeho definicím, představení základních pojmů, příčinám a důsledkům bezdomovectví a typologiím užívaným pro jeho klasifikaci. Pojednává dále o možnosti pomoci lidem bez domova skrze orgány státní správy a samosprávy, neziskové organizace, zařízení sociálních služeb a jiné organizace poskytující pomoc. Práce také představuje dva základní přístupy v reintegraci osob bez domova - "Housing ready" a "Housing first". Dále se práce věnuje konceptům zplnomocnění a participace na poli sociální práce. Je zde vymezen vztah moci a zplnomocnění, role moci a bezmoci v pomáhajícím procesu, pojetí zplnomocnění v pomáhajícím procesu a vztah konceptu participace a konceptu zplnomocnění, stupně participace a participační techniky, aplikovatelné při práci s lidmi bez domova. V empirické části práce jsou formulovány hlavní i dílčí cíle výzkumu, dále výzkumný problém a výzkumné otázky. Vzhledem k povaze tématu a cíli práce je v rámci výzkumu zvolena kvalitativní výzkumná strategie. Data, získaná polostrukturovanými rozhovory, byla po provedené transkripci kódována a následně analyzována. V závěrečném shrnutí jsou prezentovány výsledky provedeného výzkumu a jeho výstupy.

Abstract:

The master thesis deals with the perceived possibilities of participation of users in a men's shelter in selected non-profit organization, from the perspective of his clients and employees. The theoretical part deals with the phenomenon of homelessness, its definitions, the introduction of basic terms, the causes and consequences of homelessness and the used typologies for its classification. The thesis also discusses the possibility of helping people without home through state administration and self-government bodies, non-profit organizations, social services facilities and other organizations providing assistance. The thesis also presents two basic approaches to the reintegration of homeless people - "Housing ready" and "Housing first". Further, the thesis deals with concepts of empowerment and participation in the field of social work. It describes the relationship of power and empowerment, the role of power and helplessness in the helping process, the concept of empowerment in the helping process and the relationship between the concept of participation and the concept of empowerment, the degree of participation and participation techniques applicable to working with homeless people. In the methodological part, the main and partial objectives of the research are formulated, as well as the research problem and the research questions. Due to the nature of the topic and the aim of the thesis, a qualitative research strategy is chosen within the research. Data obtained from semi-structured interviews was encoded and subsequently analyzed after transcription. The final summary presents the results of the research and its outputs.
