Discrimination on labor market and gender pay gap in Czech Republic

Abstract:

Cílem práce je zjistit, zda v České republice existuje diskriminace nebo ne, případně analyzovat a zjišťovat důvody vzniku a navrhnout řešení. Cílem je také zjistit, které skupiny občanů se diskriminace týká nejvíce. Těchto cílů je dosaženo díky analýze mzdového rozdílu a dotazníkového šetření v analytické části. V práci jsou popsány teoretické základy a pojmy, které jsou potřebné k plnému pochopení problematiky diskriminace.

Abstract:

The aim of the Bachelor’s Thesis is to investigate whether discrimination exists in Czech republic or not. In case that discrimination does exist, analyze reasons and suggest a solution. The goal of the Bachelor’s Thesis is also to find out, which group of citizens are most affected by discrimination. The objectives are achieved thanks to analysis of gender pay gap and data obtained from a questionnaire survey. In the Bachelor’s Thesis are also described theoretical basics and technical term, which leads to better understanding of the discrimination.
