Processing and Digital Publishing of Historical Documents
Abstract:
Práce uvádí postupy pro digitální zpracování a zpřístupnění historických dokumentů, především starých map, za pomoci volně dostupného software. Je využit například projekt Zoomify a Google Earth. Řešena je také problematika prohledávání sbírek dokumentů na základě vývěru oblasti na mapě a rozsahu let pomocí TimeMap.
Abstract:
This paper is describing digital processing and publishing of historical documents, especially old maps, by use of free software. I use Zoomify and Google Earth project for example. Subject is also targeted on searching collection of georeferenced documents according selected area on map and range of time - by project TimeMap.
