Due to the anthropogenic eutrophication of waters, the occurrence of cyanobacterial metabolites, where some of them are biologically active compounds, rises. This bachelor thesis is focusing on the impact of naturally occurring cyanobacterial metabolites on signaling of retinoid and thyroid receptors.
