Abstract:
Práce zkoumá vliv míry nezaměstnanosti na volební úspěch extremistických a radikálních stran při volbách do parlamentu ve vybraných zemích Evropy v letech 2000 až 2010. Modelem fixních efektů na panelových datech získaných na regionální úrovni bylo zjištěno, že v případě České republiky, Maďarska a Španělska vyšší míra nezaměstnanosti vede k vyššímu podílu hlasů získaného těmito stranami. Thesis examines influence of unemployment on the electoral results of extremistic and radical parties in parliamentary elections in several European countries from 2000 to 2010. By using fixed effects model on panel data collected on regional level it was found that in Czech Republic, Hungary and Spain higher levels of unemployment lead to higher elactoral success of radical and extremistic parties …more
