Internet banking in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Obsahem bakalářské práce na téma Internetové bankovnictví v České republice je v první kapitole zařazení internetového bankovnictví do oblasti komerčního bankovnictví. Druhá kapitola se zabývá nabídkou bankovních produktů, služeb a analýzou internetových bankovnictví čtyř vybraných bank, která je doplněna o srovnání se zahraniční bankou. Pro analýzu byla zvolena metoda vícekriteriální analýzy. Kritéria analýzy jsou zpracována formou tabulek, komentářů a dílčích výsledků. Cílem analýzy je zjistit, zda se liší internetová bankovnictví bank působících v ČR již řadu let a bank, které jsou na českém trhu od roku 2011. Třetí kapitola se zabývá zabezpečením internetového bankovnictví. V kapitole jsou popsány metody autentizace a autorizace, které banky využívají. Součástí je charakteristika útoků na internetové bankovnictví v kontextu s útoky, které v minulosti proběhly v České republice a zásady bezpečného používání internetového bankovnictví. Závěrečná část pojednává o budoucnosti internetového bankovnictví v souvislosti se studií, která byla provedena v loňském roce. Cílem bakalářské práce je popsat současné možnosti internetového bankovnictví v ČR a analyzovat vybraná internetová bankovnictví.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis investigates internet banking in the Czech Republic. The first chapter classifies internet banking in the area of commercial banking. The next section contains an offer of banking products, services and an analysis of four selected internet banking in addition to a comparison with foreign internet banking. Multicriterial method was chosen for the analysis. The aim is to discover whether there is any difference in internet banking between banks which have been settled in the Czech Republic for many years and those which have been established from 2011 onwards. The third chapter looks into the security of internet banking. Furthermore, the options of authentication and authorisation, used by banks, are described. This chapter also presents characteristics of the attacks on internet baking which happened in the Czech Republic in past years and rules for secure usage of internet banking. The final part focuses on the future of internet banking in connection with a study done last year. The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to describe present options of internet banking in the Czech Republic and to analyse selected internet banking.
