Abstract:

Diplomová práce se věnuje souboru zpěvohry Státního divadla v Brně (dnešního Národního divadla Brno). Zaměřuje se primárně na oblast její dramaturgie s podrobnějším rozborem situace v 70. letech 20. století. Práce se zabývá jednotlivými sezónami v tomto desetiletí a konkrétními inscenacemi, které v nich byly uváděny. Zároveň stručně představuje osudy souboru předtím, od jeho kořenů, i potom, až po jeho formální přičlenění k Městskému divadlu Brno. Součástí práce je také diskuse několika vybraných otázek, které se z tématu vynořily – dramaturgické linie zpěvohry v 70. letech; muzikál – „co hrát“, proměna témat vs. opereta – „jak to hrát“, operetní libreta; úpadek americké muzikálové linie v 80. letech a možné příčiny; vliv normalizace; volání po specializacích v souborech; problémy prostoru a nedostatečných technických možností.

Abstract:

The master thesis is devoted to the topic of the Music Theatre Ensemble („zpěvohra“) of State Theatre Brno (today´s National Theatre Brno). It focuses primarily on the area of its dramaturgy with a more detailed analysis of the situation in the 1970s. The thesis deals with the individual seasons of this decade and the specific productions that were presented during these seasons as well as briefly presenting the story of the ensemble from its roots until its formal incorporation into Brno City Theatre. Part of the work is also a discussion of several selected questions that emerged from the topic – the lines of ensemble´s dramaturgy in the 1970s; musical and „what to perform“, change of musical themes vs. operetta´s „how to perform it“, operetta´s libretto; the decline of the American musicals in the ensemble´s dramaturgy in the 1980s and possible causes; the impact of of normalization; call for genre´s specialization in the ensemble; lack of technical possibilities and of better stage.
