EFFECT OF GRAPEVINE ROOTSTOCKS ON QUALITATIVE AND QUALITATIVE PARAMETERS DURING RIPPENING OF GRAPES

Abstract:

V této studii byl hodnocen vliv 7 podnoží na nově vyšlechtěné modrou odrůdu révy vinné Cerason a bílou odrůdu Hibernal. Experiment probíhal v letech 2013–2015 ve vinici Mendelea v Lednici na Moravě. Byla hodnocena cukernatost, obsah titrovatelných kyselin, pH, obsah kyseliny vinné, jablečné, jejich poměr a také množství asimilovatelného dusíku v hroznech, plodnost (počet a hmotnost hroznů) a také Ravaz index (optimální růst). U keřů byla hodnocena bujnost růstu letorostů (počet letorostů a hmotnost réví), která má vliv na kvalitu a množství hroznů a pro zjištění výnosové charakteristiky. Z výsledků studie jsou na naštěpování odrůdy Cerason nejvíce vhodné podnože 125AA, Borner a případně 5BB. Podnož 125AA byla velmi dobrá v obsahu titrovatelných kyselin, obsahu dusíku, v počtu i hmotnosti hroznů. Měla také výborný Ravaz index. Podnož Borner vykazovala dobré hodnoty u cukernatosti a plodnosti. Podnož 5BB měla dobrý obsah kyseliny jablečné a vinné. Pro odrůdu Hibernal se jeví jako nejvhodnější podnož K1SO4, a to pro optimální hodnoty cukernatosti, obsahu kyseliny vinné, obsahu dusíku, počtu a hmotnosti hroznů a také Ravaz indexu. Jako další vhodná alternativa může být použita podnož 125AA (optimální cukernatost, titrovatelné kyseliny, Ravaz index) a podnož 5BB (dobré hodnoty kyseliny vinné a hmotnosti hroznů). Byl pozorován vliv půdních a klimatických podmínek. Proto relevantnost dané studie lze posuzovat pouze pro dané stanoviště, v závislosti na daném ročníku.

Abstract:

This study is focused on the influence of 7 rootstocks on the newly breed red grape variety Cerason and white variety Hibernal. The experiment was conducted in 2013-2015 in the Mendeley vineyard in Lednice na Moravě.We evaluated following variables - the sugar content, the titratable acid content, the pH, the tartaric and malic acid content, the ratio of this acids, amount of the assimilable nitrogen in the grapes, the fertility (number and weight of the grapes) as well as the Ravaz index (optimal growth).There were evaluated the growth rate of vine bush (the number of vine annual shoots and the weight of vine branches), which affects the quality and quantity of grapes and the yield characteristics. The results of the study shows, that for creation of Cearason variety the most suitable rootstocks are 125AA, Borner and 5BB. The 125AA rootstock was very good in titratable acid content, nitrogen content, grape count and weight. It also had an excellent Ravaz index. The Borner rootstock had good values for sugar content and fertility. Rootstock 5BB had a good content of malic and tartaric acid.For the Hibernal variety, K1SO4 appears to be the most suitable for optimum sugar content, tartaric acid content, nitrogen content, grape count and weight, and the Ravaz index. Another suitable rootstocks are 125AA (optimum sugar content, titratable acids, Ravaz index) and 5BB (good tartaric acid and grape weight). The influence of soil and climatic conditions was observed. Therefore, the relevance of this study is limited for a given habitat and depends on the given year of study.
