Using the principles of Montessori in families in raising children 0-3

Abstract:

Magisterská diplomová práce „Využití principů Montessori v rodinách při výchově dětí 0-3 roky“ se zabývá praktickým využitím principů Montessori pedagogiky v domácím prostředí u nejmenších dětí. V teoretické části se nejdříve zabývám rodinou, její současnou podobou a rodinou, jako místem pro výchovu dětí. V další části teorie se věnuji výchově, výchovným stylům a současným alternativám ve výchově. Poslední část teorie pojednává o principech Montessori pedagogiky, které považuji za stěžejní pro využití v domácím prostředí. V praktické části diplomové práce potom přináším shrnutí hlavních motivů, které vedou matky k rozhodnutí pro využití právě Montessori pedagogiky. Uvádím nejčastěji využívané rodičovské strategie a principy Montessori pedagogiky. Nastiňuji také postoje partnerů a prarodičů. Popisuji hlavní úpravy domácího prostředí, které se v těchto rodinách provádějí a podávám přehled činností, jež děti v těchto domácnostech nejčastěji vykonávají.

Abstract:

Master's thesis "Using of Montessori Principles in Families in Raising Children 0-3 Years" deals with the practical use of the principles of Montessori pedagogy in the home environment of the youngest children. In the theoretical part I first deal with the family, its current form and family, as a place for raising children. In the next part of the theory I deal with education, upbringing styles and current alternatives in upbringing. The last part of the theory deals with the principles of Montessori pedagogy, which I consider crucial for use in the home environment. In the practical part of the thesis I bring a summary of the main motives that lead mothers to decide for the use of Montessori pedagogy. I present the most frequently used parental strategies and principles of Montessori pedagogy. I also outline the attitudes of partners and grandparents. I describe the main modifications of the home environment, which are carried out in these families and give an overview of the activities that children do most in these households.
