Assessing of the negative impact of pesticides on pollinators

Abstract:

Ve včelařské praxi jsou pesticidy vnímány především jako rizikové látky způsobujícíakutní otravu spojenou s úhynem včelstva. V řadě učebnic včelařství jsou popisoványhlavní klinické příznaky a postupy, jakým způsobem zjištěnou otravu zadokumentovata nahlásit na patřičné úřady. V souvislosti s rizikem akutní otravy jsou propracoványrelativně precizní mechanizmy zkoušení účinných látek a přípravků na ochranu rostlinstanovující smrtící toxickou dávku na včelu. Stejně jsou propracovány aplikačnípostupy a ohlašovací povinnost vůči včelařům při aplikaci pesticidů ze stranyprofesionálních zemědělců. Všechny tyto mechanizmy mají minimalizovat otravy včelprostřednictvím pesticidů. Akutní otravy včel pesticidy však nepředstavují v současnostizávažný problém v České republice, pokud je vyjádřen poměrem počtu zjištěných otravna počet včelstev. Současný problém vlivu pesticidů na opylovatele je v novýchúčinných látkách insekticidů, kterým jsou neonikotinoidy. Působí subletálně, plíživěa především synergicky s dalšími stressory a vzájemně oslabují včelstva. Narušenámikroskopická struktura včel vlivem subletální intoxikace je včelařem ve svýchsouvislostech nezaznamenána. Včelař může řešit řadu složitých situací u svých včelv souvislosti s parazity, patogeny a oslabením včelstva, aniž by vůbec zaznamenal, žejmenovatelem může být neonikotinoid. To je hlavní riziko současného vlivu pesticidůna opylovatele.

Abstract:

In beekeeping practice are pecticides perceived as hazardous substances causing acutepoisoning associated with the bee colony death. In a series of beekeeping textbooks aredescribed the main clinical signs and procedures for documenting the identifiedpoisoning and reporting to appropriate authority. Associated with the risk of acutepoisoning are beeing developed relatively precise testing mechanism of activesubstances and plant protection products establishing a lethal toxic dose for bee.Equally, application procedures and reporting obligations to beekeepers for pesticideapplication by professional farmers are elaborated. All these mechanisms are intendedto minimal bee poisoning by pesticides. The number of acute bee poisoning is currentlynot a serious problem in the Czech Republic, depending on the ratio of poisoning tonumber of the bee colonies. The current problem are neonicotinoids, as a new activesubstance of insecticides. They are sublethal, creeping and synergistic with otherstressors and mutually weaken bee colonies. The disturbed microscopic structure of thebees is not imbedded by the beekeeper solving the situation in connection withparasites, pathogens and colony weakness. This is the major risk of current impact ofpesticides on pollinators.
